Who are we?
Our names are Joshua and Logan Robertson. We are a married couple from Texas. We have both felt the call to Global Missions on our lives from a young age. It was one of the first things we discussed when we met and started dating. We both grew up serving in our local assemblies in various capacities including youth ministry, music ministry, street ministry, Sunday school, small groups and Bible study teaching. Joshua was born in Texas and has lived in the greater Austin area since he moved there in 1998 when he was 7 years old. Logan was born and raised in North Carolina until she moved with her family in 2007 to East Texas when her father accepted a position as a Pastor of a church in Carthage, Texas. We met when Logan came to the Austin area in 2013 for an internship and were married in 2015. As a married couple, we attended New Life Austin under Pastor Rodney Shaw up until 2018 when we moved to Taylor, TX. and began attending and serving at New Life Hutto under Pastor Bernhard Suppan. We have both been involved in the music ministy - Logan singing and Josh playing guitar and bass- Sunday School, and other endeavors since our transition to New Life Hutto in 2018. Since our marriage in 2015, we have both been prayerfully looking and preparing for the right opportunity to return to Eastern Europe where Joshua had the opportunity to serve in the nation of Estonia in 2011. This has been a desire and burden to minister in this area of the world for over a decade for both of us. Last August at the prompting and leading of our Pastor and after deep prayer and consideration, we submitted an Associates in Missions application to serve in the country of Estonia. Associates In Missions is a program that allows people to partner with long term missionaries in the area so that they can support and help expand ministries in the region. After our application was accepted, we put our house on the market in March of this year and we closed on the sale of our home on April 18th, 2022. We thank God for his hand on this process as we step out in faith for the next step of our journey. In our term in Estonia, we are serving under UPCI Missionaries Nathaniel and Ingunn Turner in the capital city of Tallinn. We rejoice at this opportunity but feel a heavy burden to do what God is leading us to and we do not take this burden lightly. Thank you for your time and interest in supporting us on this journey.
